aw, it was a tough morning today. last week on vacation with abby everyday was wonderful. she's a sweet kid and we had a great time hanging out at the pool, baking a birthday cake and rollerblading around a nearby lake.
abby's birthday was wednesday and her aunt michelle got her rollerblades. (i picked up the elbow, wrist and knee pads and she wore her bike helmet.) she kept wanting to rollerblade again and again around the lake even if it was going to rain. she even set her alarm clock for 8am (WAY too early) on Thursday so we could get up and go.

i'm, of course, completely burried at work after being gone for a week so i don't have time to do much more than this quick update. but, hopefully things will quiet down in a couple of days.

oh, that makes me sad.
i'm really praying we get a better director this next time. they'll never compare to you, but after karin and george they're going to look fantastic by comparison!
maybe this was God's way of lowering our expectations in this area.
