A Picture Today

I know, I've been promising pictures for a while. Pictures of our summer, of the 50th anniversary party, of my bike... but, I never take time to upload the photo's from the camera to the computer. Because when I do that, I'll also have to backup the computer in case it crashes and I lose all the pics AND I have to save them all to the digital picture frame SD card because we only do digital photos in that frame now. No more printing and paper.

Anyway, since I haven't uploaded the camera, I also tend now not to use it because that just adds to the pictures that need to be handled. But it's the first day of school, again, and just like last year after having forgotten the camera, this year's picture is again taken from the cell phone in the car on the way to school. I bet you could have guessed that would happen?

Oh well, we had a great first morning despite Abby's fear and huge desire to not go back to school. We got up on time (even though we did not start going to be earlier like we should have) and I dropped her off 3 minutes before the door opened. Then, since it's a nice day, I drove the van home and hopped on my bike to ride back to work.

Here's hoping the whole school year goes as smoothly!
