Abby very matter-of-factly last night decided that she needed to write a letter to her great grandma. i'm going to type it here, just as she wrote it:

How are you doing? What is Heaven like?
I miss you. but I know you are doing
good. I really want to see you.
I cant wait intil you answer.
I loved when you used to put my
letters on your board in the nursing
home. Now you can do that in

i love how very confident she is. she put the letter under her pillow and said she knows it may take a while to get an answer, and she said she knows that the answer might be in a dream or a message that she hears in her heart.
update from me - i'm so relieved and thankful that i heard from our church music director today. he has offered to lend me as many accompaniment books as i need for the funeral. so i get to accomplish this task for my family.
Oh, and Happy Birthday Grandma.
