well, YAY! kevin got a decent bonus so we'll be ok for another month. happily gas prices are going down too, so hopefully that will help his car sales. And my company started with a new client. i'm praying that goes well here too so that maybe my boss can come up with the raise she promised to consider in September.

oh, and in other news i took abby water skiing with my sister becky on friday and she did AWESOME! at first she would get up on the skis and then crash pretty quickly. i was in the water swimming to her to help her try again. then we took a break and after becky and my dad had a turn and i took a second turn, she tried again but this time with me in the boat and becky in the water. it seemed to me like my dad was just pulling her too fast, so i had him slow down and she was able to stay up. she ended up going around the WHOLE lake, 4 times! she would have kept going, but we were running low on gas so i hope we can get out again before summer is over. it doesn't last long in MN.
here's her on skis, but my cell phone doesn't have zoom so it's not great. you'll just have to trust me on what you're seeing.
