Stained Glass and Light

I really love stained glass. I learned to make it a few years ago, and although I'm not the best at cutting curves, I'm pretty good at the soldering part. I didn't make this light though. And I have a smaller one in my kitchen and another version in my entryway so they make the list of some my favorite things in my house.My sister Becky actually bought a power grinder AND she has a room in her house all set up to do stained glass. Sadly we can't find the time. I've also thought about getting a band saw to cut the tricky curves, but I just keep imagining cutting off a finger because I'm really not allowed to play with sharp objects. I've tried to convince Becky that she should do the cutting and I'll do the soldering, but she never wants to admit she's not as good as me at something, so so far, no go with that idea.

Another thing on my list of things to do, would be to redo my front door and to add a stained glass sidelight. You can buy beveled pieces that you don't have to cut, and then just cut the pieces in between.
