So i am certain that was the nicest trip to Pittsburgh yet.
it was sunny most of the time, and that helped. not missing Oscar helped too.
it was AWESOME to see my friend Ron, and the BIG dinner with all the kids was wonderful too. kevin was also not too difficult considering the absolute challenges he has with planning ahead.
our flights home were mostly uneventful, even though there were 2 plane crashes during the weekend. i worry when things are queued up for that 3 situation. we were on a very small, 26 passenger plane so the landings were really bouncy, but not the worst i've experienced either.
so all in all, a very nice weekend with a good ending.
kevin drove home with a sleepover in South Bend and i was a little more relaxed knowing he didn't have to do 13 hours or more of straight driving after having just done it 3 days earlier. he and oscar made it safely home last night.
after dinner we watched fireproof together. some friends have been badgering me to see it, and it was worth it. not as good as twilight, but still very nice.
