first of all, i'm better. still a little cough, but MUCH better thank you. 3 weeks of being ill was not at all good for anything. house is a disaster, work is a mess and personal things are all cluttered and messy. lots of fixing up to do.
but, on the good side, my obsession with webkinz and webkinzinsider is diminishing. it's being replaced with build-a-bearville and bearvilleinsider instead. and that's a good thing in that that game takes much less time and commitment while still giving me and abby an opportunity to "play" together online.
one of the nice things about that is that my grandma would like me to knit. i saw a kit in Barnes & Noble for knitting dog sweaters and thought that might be something i could do. a few days later, i had a dream in which my grandma was showing me where to find some needles and yarn and sure enough, when i told my dad about the dream, he went right to the place in their house where there were some old needles and yarn! so yesterday i put in a dvd from the library and started to knit. i'm actually doing it, and i like it. the only thing is my knits are too tight. i'm trying to be even, but it's just really hard because i'm not leaving enough yarn to pull in the next stitch. so i will keep practicing and i think grandma is happy.
we didn't sing at church the last two weeks. i was coughing too much. i don't believe i can sing and cough every 4 minutes. not to mention my not great voice is about an octave lower from the cold anyway. i really can't hit the alto notes even though i can't much hit the high soprano notes either. ah well, i still like to do it - make a joyful noise that is.
so, back to reality with things to catch up on... and 81 days until vacation. keep praying kevin sells cars!

sorry to hear you've been sick. the fall here is blissful, but the allergies, not so much!
so now you've taken up knitting? i guess now is a good a time as any to start. :-)
i didn't know you had allergies. bummer. i would see an accupuncturist or do electral-dermal screening. you would be surprised what they can resolve!
yeah, i'm embracing the crafty person in me. are you tatting any?
