about the same

so, her demeanor and status is about the same today. i got there at 10 and she was asleep, but just came back from a walk. she napped until noon when the nurse did stats and lunch arrived a bit later.

they have stopped insulin for today, and she's eating a little better but she says she's not really hungry and the food just doesn't appeal to her so she feels like she's forcing herself.
the heart tests showed that she has a strong, healthy heart. hehehe...no wonder she hasn't keeled over from that massive heart attack she's been expecting all these years. they are still concerned about the fluid in her lungs and her low oxygen saturation in her blood. they're going to do a cat scan on her lungs this afternoon and may give her a diuretic after that depending on what it shows. if no diuretic, then they'll take out the catheter which she is dreading a bit because it hurts to go after one of those for a while.

they have brought up now the transitional care facility which would be for a week or two, hopefully in burnsville, after they release her. i hope we're getting close to that, but it wont be until the med doctor feels she's good to go.

i'm going to a wine tasting with becky this evening, that should be a nice break. then, i'll go back to the hospital and do a midnight to 4am shift.

thank you, thank you, thank you, for continued prayers. and i'm thankful for yoga too. i'm feeling addicted to my practice of that.
